1440 Event Design is a rapidly growing event design and production company looking for one full-time Warehouse Lead to join our expanding Team. This person will be overseeing warehouse logistics and delivery/install teams during event install and strike for event types including Corporate, Galas and Weddings.

**Under supervision of the Operations Manager, this position's primary responsibilities include**:

- Lead crews to ensure all furniture and decor are loaded, delivered and returned to the warehouse efficiently and with consideration of product quality.
- Assist in planing routes and scheduling for delivery/strike.
- Execute floorpans onsite and problem solve any issues that may arise.
- Purchase materials, plan inventory and help oversee warehouse productivity.
- Support scheduling staff and participate in custom builds.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
- help Recruit, train and supervise staff.
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service.

**Skills**
- 2+ Years of Experience in the Event/Hospitality Industry or relevant customer service related job experience.
- Education: High School diploma required. Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Must be able to drive all company vehicles. Possess a valid driver's license and hold a CDL Class B License or have the ability to attain one.
- Ability to adapt and maintain a varying schedule and work weekends and evenings.
- Workloads includes 40 hours per week on average with peak season during Holiday time.
- Excellent communication skills & leadership ability. Bilingual a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and company related software programs.
- Labor management experience within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the business and operations principles.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and be comfortable interacting with venue management and clients when necessary.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to comfortably carry and lift at least 60lbs, be able to utilize ladders for installations.
- Must be familiar with the use of building tools for basic repairs and maintenance. Any building, fabrication or specialty experience in production a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
- CDL (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Lombard, IL 60148: Relocate before starting work (required)
