Mowing Foreman

**OVERALL SUMMARY**:
Design Works is seeking an experienced Mowing Forman and lover of the outdoors to work collaboratively with Landscape Maintenance Teams.

**ABOUT THIS POSITION**:

- Assignments may include but are not limited to:

- Servicing customers lawns with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilize knowledge of lawn maintenance to know the appropriate length of lawn height.
- Lead teams and direct staff using string trimmers.
- Make recommendations to management on what additional services the customer may need like bed care, weeding, fertilizer, etc.
- Helping keep equipment in good shape and having a good understanding of how machine works.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in similar position
- Mechanical knowledge a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive, self-motivated and reliable
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and creates natural interpersonal relationships
- Ability to accurately keep records and stay organized using our time-tracking and audit software.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, rain, and cold
- Meets driver requirements (valid license, no violations, motor vehicle report)
- Takes safety and a drug-free workplace seriously
- Will help during snow season either driving plow or salting
- Can lift 70lbs continuously
