Lead Pastor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastor to join our church community. As a Pastor, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual guidance, support, and leadership to our congregation. You will be responsible for delivering inspiring sermons, providing pastoral care, and overseeing various church activities and events.

**Duties**:

- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking sermons that are relevant to the needs of the congregation
- Provide pastoral care and support to individuals and families in times of bereavement, crisis, or personal struggles
- Mentor and educate church members on matters of faith, spirituality, and personal growth
- Lead and facilitate worship services, including baptisms, weddings, and funerals
- Work Alongside Church Board to Plan and organize church events (e.g. community outreach programs, etc.)
- Resolve conflicts within the congregation through effective communication and conflict management techniques
- Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of various ministries and programs
- Conduct regular visitations to hospitals, nursing homes, and other care facilities to provide spiritual support to those in need

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Pastor or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to deliver engaging sermons
- Proficient in crisis management and intervention techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with diverse individuals
- Ability to plan and organize events effectively

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

- Wabash, IN 46992: Relocate before starting work (required)
