Borger Residential is seeking a Compliance Office Assistant with experience in Section 8 compliance at one of our Senior Citizen Living Communities
**Position Summary**:
The Compliance Specialist is primarily responsible for the Section 8 compliance process for this 300-unit senior living community. Secondary responsibilities include general office tasks including filing and front desk support to ensure reception coverage.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Work with existing residents on annual recertification
- Prepare new lease and renewal lease documents
- Maintain lease files with regular filing and recordkeeping updates
- Provide back-up support to the front desk to ensure continuous coverage
- Responding to inquiries pertaining to the property from guests or residents
- Any tasks assigned by management related to the entire property operations, which comprise of tasks in the Business/Leasing and Engineering offices
- Assist managers and other staff members with work to be done. Maintain a professional appearance and display a good attitude at all times.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum of 2 years in Section 8 compliance process
- Strong computer skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, general database management
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication
- Work well with both residents and colleagues
- Previous work history that demonstrates stability and commitment
- Previous experience working in Property Management preferred
- Dependable in both daily attendance and timely completion of work product.
