**About us**

M & M Welding Equipment Repair Services is a small family-owned business in Whittier, CA. We are a professional repair service for the Welding and Gas Equipment stores in Southern and Central California.

We are looking for a part time employee to operate a sandblaster (closed cabinet) to clean up welding equipment such as torches and regulators in our repair shop.

There is also potential to learn other skills such as tearing down equipment to prepare for sandblasting and we provide training to learn to repair torches, regulators, flowmeters, etc.

We are closed on weekends, however we often work on Saturdays if the workflow requires it. Saturday would be optional if you'd like to work more. Your schedule will be set hours of your choosing within our operating hours of 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Since we are a repair shop, our workflow fluctuates and there will be potential to work more hours if you'd like. You may also choose to work 4 week days instead of 5, so long as your schedule allows for a minimum of 28 hours.

You will accrue 1.5 hours of sick time for every 30 hours worked. Vacation accrual begins after your first year. We also offer a company sponsored 401(k) plan with matching and an optional IRA plan (IRA doesn't include company match)

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 33 per week
