**Job Summary**:
The Instructional Services Specialist will assist in the development, support, coordination, and outreach of a learning support program (Learning Enhancement Center) and engages in a variety of learning assistance-related instructional activities. Responsible discipline areas are English, ESL/ELL and Reading.

**Essential Functions**:
70% - Provides academic support and guidance to students in one-on-one and group settings in person, online and asynchronously; engages in a variety of learning assistance-related instructional activities, including student outreach for academic support; designs and develops learning support materials; plans and assists with the development of curricula and academic support materials; promotes and delivers academic workshops and presentations; researches information related to trends and best practices in post-secondary academic support and assigned disciplines; assists in the maintenance of an asynchronous writing feedback service

20% - Assists in the development of resources for and training of part-time Student Learning Facilitators; mentors and coaches student learning facilitators on best practices for virtual and in-person academic support; assists with the marketing and recruitment of part-time Student Learning Facilitators

10% - Serves as a liaison between student learning facilitators and the appropriate supervisor; assists Instructional Services Sup
