**Addictions Counselor: FULL TIME POSITION**

Man Alive, Inc. is a non-profit Medication Assisted Treatment program whose principles are grounded in the motto " Acceptance & Empowerment Promotes Recovery." Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service to our patients, their families and the community.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Maintains a caseload as assigned and in accordance with COMAR and CARF regulations.
- Performs individual therapy with patients on a regular basis as well as emergency intervention.
- Documents patient progress and all interventions in the patient record.
- Formulates individualized treatment plans with patients.
- Facilitates counseling groups and completes all documentation.
- Participates in individual/group supervision.
- Attends Treatment Team and in-service training meetings.
- Attends all other required meetings.
- Position is Monday - Friday 8 hours per day with occasional weekend shift.

**Education Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of an AA degree in Counseling or other Human Services Field.

**Other Requirements**:

- **Must be certified under the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a CSC-AD or a CAC-AD.**:

- Must have at least two years of Counseling experience.
- Must comply with all Certification or Licensing requirements.

**Salary Range: $55,656 - $65,61 depending upon education, certification and experience.**
