Budtender

**Essex Apothecary is a woman-owned, woman-run adult-use cannabis retail store in Lynn, MA. We are currently hiring a part time Budtenders. MUST have an open Availability.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide outstanding customer service to dispensary customers, including educating consumers on various strains, products, and consumption methods
- Handling cash payments and entering transactions into dispensary POS systems
- Maintaining the appearance of the retail sales floor, including merchandising, restocking inventory, and cleaning sales area
- Continuing cannabis education and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge
- Adhere to all company policies and CCC rules and regulations
- Complete customer sales accurately through POS system following company policies and CCC rules and regulations
- Complete daily checklists for opening and/or closing
- Work as part of a team to ensure every customer’s satisfaction, sales goals and timelines are met
- All other job duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Prior retail experience is required
- Must be 21+
- Must have Knowledge of Cannabis
- Supervisor/Management experience a plus
- Bilingual a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a federal and state background check
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to work 4-8 hour days, night, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Must provide 3 references
