**About the Role**

**T**eaching experience preferred, not required. **We seek an experienced Graphic Design and Adobe CC professional to join our Graphic Design department as a substitute instructor Must have experience in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere as your primary focus is teaching this to the next generation of Graphic Design professionals

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Teaching After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere in an engaging format
- Inspire and support students with a "hands-on" and active approach as they progress through coursework
- Complete rubric grading for student projects consistently and promptly
- Tally attendance and grades into the Student Information System
- Create a safe, supportive, creative, and dynamic environment for students

**Recommended Skills or Experience**
- 2+ years of teaching experience preferred.
- 5+ years of field-related experience or 3+ years of experience with relevant accredited certification or degree.
- Adept with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition).
- Understands several types of digital cameras.
- Firm grasp of color theory and design
- Wide knowledge of website prototyping and development
- Flexible schedule

**Minimum Job Requirements**
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years experience or a diploma in higher education

**The salary range for this role is $19.00 - $23.00 per hour**

**Physical Requirements**
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to physically access and navigate each department at our facility.
