Our **Greeter** is the first and last point of contact for potential and current customers and is therefore one of the most important positions in our new Long’s Newbury Street location. Your commitment to service and exceeding customers’ expectations is what will define your success in this role. This position requires you to be flexible, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask and interact with a diverse and discerning clientele.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome all customers in an authentic and professional manner.
- Manage incoming customer visits, especially during heightened business periods and monitor intake ability throughout the day.
- Inquire about the reason for a customer’s visit and follow through with the appropriate hand off and introduction in the next step in the customer’s journey. Offer hospitality and comfort should a customer need to wait for their designated sales professional.
- Converse and engage with customers as they wait to enter the store/boutique during peak business periods. Provide general information about the local area to customers visiting the area.
- Be knowledgeable of daily appointments, scheduled VIC visits, and other unique activities scheduled for the day.
- Act as a second pair of eyes and ears when it comes to monitoring inside and outside the premises for any type of unusual activity which might be a security risk. Partner with security regarding these situations.
- Assist with open and closing responsibilities of your location.
- Ensure pristine condition of physical premises.
- Run occasional errands as needed.

- Self-motivated and ability to anticipate the needs of others

**Experience**:

- Prior hospitality and/or luxury retail environment experience, preferably in customer service
- Interest in fine jewelry and luxury timepieces a plus
