**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY**

As a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC), you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Office of the Chief Information Officer's Office of Information Security to optimize business results and customer experience by:

- Managing, planning, directing, and executing all organization operations and providing administrative and technical oversight to a subordinate staff.
- Supports agency officials and senior leaders in engagements with congressional members, committees and staff, media outlets, members of the public and other Federal agency governmental and public affairs offices related to Healthcare and Public Health Sector (HPH) cybersecurity and HPH risk management issues and concerns.
- Uses writing skills and editorial judgment to strategically develop cybersecurity messages for various HPH sector audiences; and delivers them by evaluating the most appropriate media channel(s) for the needs of the target audience.
- Prepares written documentation to transfer technical information about concepts, situations, products, services, or results to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge related to cybersecurity.

**Basic Requirement**:
**individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.**

- **Problem Solving** - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

**AND**

**Specialized Experience**:
Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that includes performing at least three (3) of the following:
- Developing both strategic and tactical communication products with an in-depth understanding of HHS and Healthcare and Public Health Sector cybersecurity policy and critical infrastructure initiatives.
- Providing analysis and advice to senior managers and executives in area of cybersecurity communications and engagement.
- Strategically develop cybersecurity messages for various audiences by utilizing the appropriate media channels.
- Experience with written documentation to transfer technical information about concepts, situations, products, services, or results to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge related to cybersecurity, writing in a variety of media, e.g., traditional print and digital media.
- Supporting agency officials and senior leaders in engagements with congressional members, committees and staff, media outlets, members of the public (including HPH sector), other Federal agency and public affairs offices related to cybersecurity.
