Job Overview:
We are seeking an Expeditor to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant/club environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of food from the kitchen to the customers, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
**Duties**:
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen staff and servers
- Ensure timely delivery of food orders to the correct tables
- Verify that each dish meets quality standards before leaving the kitchen
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to avoid delays
- Assist in final food preparation tasks before serving
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and expediting area
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a restaurant/club setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to liaise between kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and hospitality industry practices
- Willingness to assist in various tasks as needed, including bussing tables
