The City of Three Rivers is seeking applicants for the position of Water Operator. Under the direction of the Water Superintendent, this position will be responsible for the hands-on operation and maintenance of the City’s drinking water production, quality, distribution, storage, and metering system. In this capacity, the individual keeps the City’s water system in compliance with State Act 399 and Federal Drinking Water Act and all rules and regulations established by governing agencies.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, MI Driver’s License, Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, S-4 and D-4 State of Michigan Drinking Water Operator license as well as two years of related experience, and the ability to work varied and weekend hours as necessary. This is a full-time non-union hourly position. Pay range is $23.00 - $27.32 DOQ with a competitive benefit package.
