**Warehouse/Delivery Driver**

**Overview**

A well
- established HVAC and plumbing contractor company is looking to add a Warehouse/Delivery Driver. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse/Delivery Driver will be responsible for properly loading and unloading trucks and trailers; delivery and pickup of materials to and from jobsites; assisting with inventory of materials, tools and safety equipment. Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly. Need good written and verbal skills. Powered industrial forklift experience a plus. Experience with HVAC/Plumbing materials is a plus. Minor equipment maintenance is a plus.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
- Drive vehicles with capacities under three tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations, such as railroad stations, plants, residences, offices, or within industrial yards.
- Load and unload trucks/vans
- Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
- Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment
- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
- Performing General Physical Activities
- Documenting/Recording Information
- Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material
- Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment
- **Skills**:

- Must be a team player. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and effective communication skills are also required with a desire and ability to work and communicate as a team across all departments.
- Must have excellent communication skills as this position entails having constant communications with Vendors, Suppliers, Project Managers, company personnel
- Working knowledge of roofing, HVAC and plumbing material
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities for on-time completion
- Must be highly organized, able to prioritize, set and keep deadlines, change direction quickly, and adapt to various work environments easily
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be adaptable and flexible.
- Excellent follow-up skills

**Education**:

- High School or equivalent required

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday

Shift:

- Day shift
