Media Transfer Technician

Job Summary:
Seeking an individual with a sincere interest in the digitization and preservation of physical media. As a Media Transfer Technician, you will be part of a small team responsible for capturing various analog and digital audio & video formats and scanning photos, slides, and negatives to digital files.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Mac and PC platforms
- Willingness to continually explore better methods to complete tasks
- Working knowledge of an editing tool such as Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, etc. is preferred
- exceptional customer-relations experience and the desire to meet or exceed customer expectations
- strong attention to detail and exceptional media management and organizational skills
- Be quick with change and using new technologies
- passion for audio/video and digital entertainment
- Initiative to problem solve and investigate multiple solutions to operational challenges
- Ability to multi-task while keeping to defined schedules
- Flexibility for alternative schedule (i.e., Tuesday to Saturday) preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
