Summer Camp Nurse

We are looking for a RN or LPN for our Summer Day Camp, which serves school-aged children. This position could be temporary full time, part time, or job shared with another nurse. Prior experience working with children is strongly preferred.

The camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m, beginning on June 10th and ending on August 16th.

Enrollment in our summer day camp for the incumbent's school aged children, if needed, can be negotiated as part of the compensation package.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the safety and well-being of campers and staff
- Oversees the distribution of camper medications
- Communicates with parents about medical issues
- Treats campers when they are feeling under the weather
- Addresses emergencies such as allergic reactions or injuries
- Reporting and recording any incidents such as accidents
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- All applicants will be required to complete the following clearances before beginning employment:

- **PA Child abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Background Check,**:

- **FBI clearance - fingerprinting.**
