Summary: The Winchester Employee Engagement Manager will lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and oversee programs aimed at supporting team members, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, retention, recognition, learning and development, diversity, wellness, and other activities to cultivate a positive workplace culture. Additionally, they will offer administrative and operational assistance to the Executive Director and Human Resources Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering effective collaboration among all staff members.

**Essential Responsibilities** will include the following, and other duties may be assigned.
- Work directly with leadership and human resources on establishing a strategic tool for the organization’s growth, productivity, and improvement in employee retention.
- Develop, execute, and evaluate internal communication plans to ensure the vision, values, initiatives, and organizational information are communicated regularly and effectively.
- Help develop and implement the company’s diversity initiatives and strategies to attract, hire, and maintain a diverse workplace.
- Helps support the full cycle recruitment process (sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending and negotiating employment offers, and onboarding)
- Optimize training and development to maximum performance, retention, and job growth.
- Lead the development and execution of employee engagement programs and foster the company’s culture ensuring all initiatives/activities are promoted and delivered.
- Implement, manage and oversee the employee recognition program.
- Organize employee special events, including but not limited to team building, holiday events, and company outings.
- Assess programs, feedback, and involvement in considering creative ideas and needs.
- Guide, train, and direct departmental management to execute human resources policies and procedures to ensure appropriate legal and organizational compliance.
- Provide support in scheduling certifications, trainings, and conferences, including securing necessary travel accommodations.
- Provide routine information regarding events, progress, policies, and procedures.
- Manage any special projects assigned by the Executive Director and Human Resources.
- Maintain and order all necessary supplies, materials, and services for estate, department, and office equipment (i.e., office supplies, copier, postage machines, etc.).

**Education**:

- Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.

**Experience**:

- Required: Minimum of one to two years experience in human resources.

**Licensure and Certification**:

- Preferred: PHR or SPHR Certification.

**Language Skills**:Must possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Writes reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals. Effectively responds and presents information from questions to managers, groups of managers, clients, customers, or the general public.

**Reasoning Ability**:Must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions while interpreting a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

**Computer Skills**: Must have knowledge of Internet software, and Microsoft Suite of Products.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
