**Venue Staff/Groundskeeper Job Description**

**Category**: Part time, with possible full-time placement

**Position Type**: Paid hourly, 25-35hrs/week

**Position Description**:
The Barn at Bull Meadow is looking to fill a position on their team of venue staff. This person will be responsible for assisting with event and non-event related venue tasks. Event-related tasks will vary based on the type of event but may include but not limited to setting up or taking down chairs and tables, light custodial duties, & occasionally assisting during an event. Non-event tasks during the week may consist of landscaping, grounds keeping, general maintenance, and any other tasks requested.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Ability to work during the week whether during the day or in the evening as well as most weekends. Hours will be primarily weekdays for maintenance and grounds keeping with the possibility of at least one evening or weekend day per week for event help. The job requires being on one’s feet for a majority of the day. Physical stamina and capability of lifting at least 40 lbs. is a must.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for set up and break down of ceremony chairs on weekly basis
- Responsible for completing assigned maintenance tasks
- Upkeep and cleaning of grounds (planting, pruning, watering, etc.)
- Maintaining positive relationships with fellow staff members and guests.
- Assisting in event and/or equipment set up and break down.
- Any other necessary duties as assigned.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evenings as needed
- Nights as needed
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
