Payroll Specialist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information and pay rates.
- Handle basic accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll and accounting inquiries in both languages.
- Collaborate with Finance departments to streamline processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in payroll processing and basic accounting.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
