Position Overview:
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our dietary supplement products meet regulatory requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, including developing and implementing quality systems, conducting audits, and leading a team of QA professionals. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our products and enhancing our reputation as a trusted provider in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Systems Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, cGMP, NSF).

Quality Assurance Processes: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle, from raw material procurement to finished product release.

Product Testing and Analysis: Oversee product testing protocols, including raw material testing, in-process testing, and finished product testing, to verify compliance with specifications and standards.

Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and ensure the quality and consistency of incoming raw materials.

Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality assurance activities, including batch records, testing results, and quality metrics.

Quality Audits and Inspections: Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality systems, identify areas for improvement, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to QA team members and other relevant staff on quality assurance processes, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, streamline processes, and optimize efficiency within the quality assurance function.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends related to dietary supplements and quality assurance, ensuring ongoing compliance and readiness for regulatory inspections.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, production, and regulatory affairs, to support product development, resolve quality issues, and drive quality improvements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science) required; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within the dietary supplement or pharmaceutical industry.

In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, and industry quality standards for dietary supplements.

Proven experience in developing and implementing quality systems, SOPs, and quality assurance processes.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and motivate team members.

Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) preferred.
