We are a FAST PACED family medical practice seeking to hire a **medical** **receptionist **who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. - **What You Will Do In This Role**:_
- Manage all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, and insurance verifications.
- Answer high volume phone calls, take messages and communicates messages to the appropriate department personnel.
- Manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information.
- Ensure the quality of medical records by verifying their completeness, accuracy, and proper entry into computer systems.
- Fulfill all radiology orders. Including X-ray, CT, MRI Etc.
- Fulfill referral orders to other specialists.
- You will assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash, check or card) including balancing the day.
- Sanitizes, cleans and maintains front desk area, including waiting room, and patients restroom.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
- **Additional requirements**:_
- Ability to handle a high volume of patients in a fast-paced/ interruption prone environment
- **MUST **have experience using an EMR system and preferably with EMDs.
- Computer literate with EMR experience is **MANDATORY**:

- Knowledge of medical terminology, communication skills, professionalism, patient focus, multi-tasking, time management, attention to detail and adaptability
