**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Monitors pest activity of all on site facility processing and storage facilities, then report to fumigation lead or management.

Monitor and maintain all pest traps throughout the facility.

Monitors work areas looking for leaks during fumigation and aerate structures after fumigation cycles are completed as per company standard operating procedure.

Responsible for completing all required documentation, which includes Fumigation Application Data sheet/forms, Notification Notice, Cylinder Tag Label, posting/signage and any other documentation needed to maintain our facility in compliance with State and County agencies.

Communicates to fumigation lead and/or management of all issues and concerns.

Assist fumigation lead work with food safety and compliance programs to ensure all records and reporting are current and up to date.

Responsible to ensure, monitor and report bin fumigation inventory is meeting proper time intervals during season or off-season.

Works with cross-functional departments to ensure timely fumigation of all inventory and shipped products.

Maintain proper Fumigant and Pesticides levels, including but not limited to IGR, Roundup, emulsifiers, Pyrethrum, DDVP, Phosphine, Propylene Oxide, Sulfuryl Fluoride and any other applicable fumigants.

Any other duties assigned by management.

Responsible for upholding all Food Safety, Quality, & People Safety policies and regulations.

**Skills and Abilities**

Must be self-directed.

Team orientated.

Good written and oral communication skills.

**Qualifications and/or Experience**

Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) or Qualified Applicator License (QAL) issued by California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR).

High school diploma, general education degree (GED), technical degree, or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical program.

Forklift Certified

Hands-on, trustworthy and will do what is necessary to get the job done.

Familiar with monitoring devices needed to perform all duties and responsibilities.

Qualified to utilize a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).

**Required Trainings**

Forklift.

Must Maintain a valid applicators certificate (QAC) or license (QAL)

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
