IT Asset Technician

**Overview**:
Greenland Resource is an e-waste recycling company with a mission to reduce, reuse, and recycle electronics that would’ve ended up in landfill. We are urgently seeking an IT asset technician who is self-motivated, experienced and detail-oriented. You will be responsible for sorting, organizing, and testing electronics. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Sort and pack IT devices as instructed
- Test IT devices, including cell phones, tablets, desktops, laptops, etc.
- Repair IT devices if needed
- To inventory IT assets with ERP software

**Requirements**:

- Able to communicate efficiently, both verbal and written
- Must be physically mobile and be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day
- Must be able to lift IT devices no more than 30lbs
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in the IT asset management industry or have experience repairing computers and/or cell phones in professional settings
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed

**Working Conditions**:
The IT asset technician will primarily be working in the warehouse. Therefore, you will be exposed to fluctuations in temperature and moderate noise levels. To reduce the chance of injuries, we will be providing you with gloves and safety glasses.

Probation Period: 3 months

Education: High school or equivalent

**Language**:

- English (required)
- Spanish or Mandarin (preferred)

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Monday - Friday

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
