Catering Event Coordinator

Overview:
Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):
- Market catering services to potential clients and generate new leads
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Upsell additional services or menu items to enhance the client's experience
- Provide excellent guest services before, during, and after events
- Manage multiple banquet events simultaneously while ensuring each event runs smoothly
- Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to secure agreements
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for catering events
- Help run/market on our social media pages
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in catering or event planning
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of banquet operations and catering industry trends
- Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing effectively
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management for events
- Knowledge in Kosher planning: a benefit
