We’re currently seeking _**Environmental Field Technicians from entry-level to experienced**_ for our newest branch in Troy, NY.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As an employee of Sun Environmental Corp., you will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response, hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. You must be able to understand and comply with company and client safety standards.

This position works a morning shift 80% of the time; usually around 6:00 am - 4:00 pm. We do work some nights, evenings & weekends as needed to accommodate customer's needs. Overtime is available and we even have opportunities to earn prevailing wage and double time on jobs.

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- The safety-oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
- Current Hazwhoper certification is a plus, but not required.
- Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role.
- Able to be on-call for emergency response.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must pass fit for duty physical with the ability to climb, twist, kneel, bend, push and pull without difficulty.
