Nurse Practitioner- Floater

**Our Story**
**Looking for a Nurse Practitioner that will be a floater to all our locations: Riverside, San Jacinto, Hemet, Victorville, Hesperia, Indio, Palm Springs, and Rancho Mirage**
**Competitive Base Salary plus Quarterly Bonus Incentive**
**Job Duties**
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, execute, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans that include shared goals with measurable outcomes.
- Assess and document patient health through interviews, examinations, observations, and review of medical histories.
- Diagnose health conditions, order and interpret lab work and diagnostic studies following established protocols.
- Ensure productivity by seeing 20 - 30 patients on average per day for integrated complex care and 35 - 45 patients on average per day for medical pain care (fee for service).
- Document all patient encounters and sign medical charts within 72 hours as per industry standards and guidelines.
- Develop treatment plan as part of patient’s overall care plan that addresses dysfunction and disease while minimizing risk of further injury.
- Prescribe and dispense medication when granted authority in accordance with State licensure and staff privileges.
- Employ evidence-based approaches to shared decision-making that respect the patient’s preferences and social norms while targeting optimal treatment outcomes.
- Order therapies such as occupational and physical therapy.
- May perform injections consistent with training and privileges under established protocols.
- Encourage patients to take control and responsibility of their health through self-management and use of community resources.
- Engage patients and provide care in individual and group settings that focus on achieving care plan goals and education.
- Care for a medically complex and emotionally challenging patient population that requires compassion, empathy, and the ability to deescalate and appropriately react to unacceptable behavior in individual and group settings.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
**Qualifications**
- Current Nurse Practitioner License in California required.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience as NP preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

**Physical Demands**:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to manipulate equipment, and to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
**Work Environment**:The noise level in the work environment is high to moderate.

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
Plus monthly allowance (mileage reimbursement) and many other perks
- 3 weeks' vacation upon hire, plus we close for 2 weeks during the holidays (paid time off)
