Weekend Unit Secretary

Communicates with the interdisciplinary team members regarding scheduling patient’s activities and tests.
- Prepares admission charts for current admission and obtains any previous medical records.
- Copies information related to discharge, follow-up appointments and post discharge and forwards to appropriate receiving facility.
- Take messages and manage a multi-line phone to handle calls

Prerequisites:

- High School Diploma required.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Knowledge of growth and development across the life span

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Healthcare setting:

- JCAHO accredited facility
- Long term care
- Rehabilitation center

Medical specialties:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Every weekend
- Weekends only
