The following vacancy exists in Goshen Community Schools for the 2024-25 school year:
**Goshen Junior High School**

**Athletic Coordinator**

**POSITION PURPOSE**:To assist in performing a variety of responsible duties to support the Athletic Department, Administration, Athletes, and their families.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Supervises and organizes events
- Coordinates all facilitates all aspects of athletic events
- Creates Game Announcements/Game Sets
- myIHSAA
- Assists with transfers
- Assists with waivers
- Assists with and tracks certifications of all coaches
- Maintains EventLink website and oversees the scheduling of
- Officials
- Facilities
- Kiosks
- Ticket set up
- Event workers
- Payments to event workers/officials
- Maintains FinalForms website and oversees
- Tracking physicals
- All other registration forms
- Rosters
- Oversees athletic contract changes from year to year as needed
- Sends and requests rosters and programs from opposing schools
- Maintains laundry, wash and dry team uniforms and practice gear
- Creates and prints awards night certificates.
- Serves as communication link between visitors, coaches, coaching staff and the Athletic Office
- Orders supplies for Concession Manager
- Oversees the scheduling of pre-season Parent/Player meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience in event coordination preferred
- Proficient organizational skills and the ability to learn new technologies
- Proficient proofreading, spelling, and writing skills
- Represents the athletic department in the office and at events
- Motivated, flexible, and open minded
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to multi-task
- Contributes to a positive team atmosphere

**WORK CALENDAR**:220 days per year; 40 hours per week; Schedule determined by event needs and supervisor; some nights and weekends required

**SALARY**: Dependent upon education and/or experience.
