**Description**:
The Production Worker/ Equipment Operator is a full-time position at our facility in Springfield, NH in our Sawmill. The production worker will rotate between various areas of the mill. The hours and days of operation are Monday through Friday 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, however the hours of operation may change based on production needs.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for keeping up with the flow of production
- Keeps workspace and surroundings clean and neat to foster productivity and efficiency
- Conduct activities in a safe manner, follow corporate safety guidelines and requirements, use personal protective equipment, and proactively address any unsafe conditions observed
- Other assignments as made by management

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Operate equipment safely and responsibly
- Organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Strong work ethic, good judgment, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Promote a safe working environment and follow all workplace and job safety procedures

**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (preferred)
- Equipment Operating Experience
- Sawmill experience (preferred)

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to reach, clean, and service machinery
- Must be able to inspect machines visually
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

**Work Environment**:

- Indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and all-weather conditions
- Walking on slippery or uneven surfaces from time to time
- Hearing protection is required in certain areas of the facility
