**Education and Experience**:

- Associates degree preferred, or its equivalent, with 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage. dining and hospitality industry with a specific focus on customer service preferred.
- Experience with working in the front of the house in a high-end restaurant or dining setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards, menu items with wine pairing as an added skill.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with composure.
- Proficient with the use of restaurant management software and POS systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of Food Service management practices, techniques, and procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of food preparations and proper food handling procedures
- Knowledge of food merchandising, catering and special function set ups.
- Knowledge of budgeting-preparing, monitoring, and submitting a budget annually
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, State and Federal regulations related to dining services, Infection Control Standards and H.A.C.C.P.
- Requires ServSafe certification (Broadmead will assist if needed)
- Knowledge of computer software, Microsoft Office and typing skills

**Essential Duties**:
1. Recruit, hire and train team member service positions, including dining room supervisor, catering coordinator, lead servers, multiservers, s, and any other front of the house positions.

2. Along with team supervisors, create team member schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.

3. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback and address performance issues.

4. Train team members on service standards, product knowledge and proper serving presentation and techniques.

5. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and encourage and develop teamwork and professionalism for all front of the house positions.

6. Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction by monitoring service quality, presentation and addressing any concerns or complaints.

7. Interact with customers in all venues, providing personalized service, and handling special requests or VIP guests.

8. Coordinates training programs and participates in training of team members in Holly Terrace Dining Room

9. Coordinates the smooth the smooth operation of food service when opening and closing operations.

10. Keeps certifications and required in-service training updated.

11. Attends assigned Food Committee meetings.

12. Responsible for training event team members in collaboration with the Event Coordinator

13. Responsible for overseeing the processing of all catering invoices collaborating with the Executive Chef and Event Coordinator

14. Responsible for overseeing the coordination of catering events in collaboration with the Executive Chef and Event Coordinator, including the décor, promotional materials, entertainment, equipment, room reservations and confirmation for the host.

15. In conjunction with the Event Coordinator, ensures all vendors and service providers for events are approved by Broadmead prior to engaging their services and ensures that payment for services abides by the rules of the Finance Department and Broadmead policies.
