We are seeking a friendly face and dedicated **Front Office Administrative Receptionist **for our busy oral surgery practice. In this position you will be responsible for;
- greeting patients
- answering phones
- scheduling patients
- date entry in practice management software
- chart filing
- as well as other general office duties.

The position is **full time, Monday - Friday**. *_You must have reliable transportation as you will be asked to travel to all locations on a weekly basis._

**Qualifications**

**Education and/or Experience**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment, _preferred_
- Experience in medical/dental field and administrative record management, _preferred_
- Strong customer service background
- Strong communication skills

**Skills, Knowledge and Abilities**
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
- Knowledge of medical/ dental billing practices and of billing reimbursement, _preferred_
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and caution when handling sensitive information (HIPPA compliant)
- Medical/ dental terminology, _preferred_
- Multi-task along with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, organized, has good time-management, and deductive problem solving skills
- Sense of urgency and responsiveness to physicians, location, employees, and patients
- Works independently and as part of a team

**Physical Demands**
- Occasionally lift and carry office materials at times around the office
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking, or listening for extended periods
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and paperwork

**Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities**
- Internet navigation and research
- Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer / tablet
- Electronic Health Record Software (knowledgeable in DSN software is a bonus)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
