The **Warehouse Specialist** will be working in the Ft. Meade, Maryland location. The individual shall perform warehouse and facility operation requirements of this contract on a Government owned facility located on a military installation.

**Responsibilities**:
Ø Responsible for receiving and distributing equipment, supplies, program and administrative property, lifecycle replacement, and asset disposition, for organizations at DISA, Fort Meade, and the NCR

Ø Required to dispose approximately 30 thousand lbs. of scrap metal, plastic, wood and wire annually.

Ø Will provide prompt and professional customer service.

Ø MP31 warehouse team has the responsibility of receiving, inventorying, delivering copy paper, conference room set-ups, office moves, forklift operations, distribution and disposal services.

Ø Performing task require knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) 5000.64.

Ø This is a full-time, on-site while training and remote/on-site rotation based on site needs, service contract act (SCA) position.

Ø Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Preferred to have previous working experience using Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- Experience in general warehousing operations involving material receipt, storage, and issue.
- General working knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE).
- Required to properly wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate/collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions both verbally and in writing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

**Education**
- High School Education

**Clearance**
- MUST have current Secret Clearance in place
- MUST maintain clearance for the duration of employment

**Work Environment**
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more when required.
- Ability to work in heat and cold weather
- Ability to stand and or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, walk, kneel

Pay: $21.59 - $26.00 per hour
