**SHWASH is one of the leading car detailing and paint protection companies in Austin, TX. We specialize in on-demand mobile car detailing as well as paint correction and paint protection services. SHWASH has experienced rapid growth since its origin, and is scaling to become the #1 detailing company in the Austin, TX metropolitan area.**

**We will soon expand and grow the business in new markets, and are looking for the right partner(s) to bring on board to help us scale and grow this company successfully. If you have an entrepreneurial desire and mindset - this is the job for you. You will be working side by side with the 2 owners and will assist in contributions to the strategic decisions as it relates to scaling the business, service expansion, and strengthening our processes & systems.**

**JOB PURPOSE**:
Reporting to both owners of SHWASH, the Detailing Operations Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibilities for the field operations, and will assist the owners in the growth, health, and overall performance of the assigned market. This position is primarily a hands-on operational position.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
This job will be performed both remote and in our shop - we can thoroughly discuss this in the interview process.

**Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm**

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead and direct a team of automotive technicians, and provide the hands-on support needed to achieve performance metrics and quality standards;
- Answer and manage incoming customer calls & requests - consult them on the best service for them and guide them through the booking process to make an appointment.
- Assist technicians as needed with all activities associated with the various lines of business;
- Engage team members in proactively resolving customer issues in a timely and effective manner;
- Coordinate daily activities and manage the flow of day-to day operations;
- Motivate and build morale within the team, ensuring the operation maintains high standards of quality, honesty, integrity, and trust by following the processes and holding people accountable to quality and processes;
- Promote safety and operational consistency through daily observations, routine quality checks, and ongoing training;
- Assist the owners and make recommendations related to employee hiring, firing, and performance evaluation.

**TECHNICAL & SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong technical knowledge in automotive preventative maintenance, car wash and detail, ceramic coating, and paint correction & protection
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Able to operate a Field Management System (admin console)
- Able to resolve problems ensuring that decisions are made based on policies, rules, and organizational directives and solving the emerging problems with customers, operations, and employees;
- Adept at setting priorities and efficiently utilizing people and equipment;
- Able to communicate effectively with technicians, management, and our clients

**EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance and other services;
- Experience operating and/or managing a team
- Industry, customer service, retail and food service experience highly preferred;
- Proven ability to lead people and have excellent knowledge of field operations;
- Proficient at math (such as add, subtract, multiply, divide, and compute percentages);
- Efficient at using a computer, smartphone, CRM Software, MS Word and MS Excel;
- Read, write, and speak English fluently

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
