Miami, United States Hotel AKA Brickell Full time

JOB OVERVIEW: Assist guests with booking and confirming reservations. Responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests and callers.
- Handles all owner phone inquiries regarding billing statements, as well as other general questions
- Uses a positive and clear speaking voice, listens to understands requests, responds with appropriate action and provide accurate information such outlet hours, special VIP programs, events, etc. Uses guest name in a sincere manner to create personalized service.
- Provide accurate and thorough information on the hotel’s accommodations, packages, promotions, services, and amenities.
- Assist guests with planning and booking hotel, restaurant, package and special event reservations.
- Completes the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from the system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate. Makes appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs. Promotes and administers AKA Programs such as VIP Tiers, for arriving guests. Ensures guest knows location of room, and arranges for colleague to accompany guest to room.
- Ensure that the appropriate level of confidentiality and security for all guest and company information is achieved, aiding in creating a feeling of comfort and confidence for guests.
- Fields guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results.
- Performs any other job related function as assigned.

Job Requirements

1 year of customer service required
Considerable skill in the use of a calculator to perform moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
Ability to use a computer

Pay: $20.00 per hour
