Overview:
Under the direction of the Executive Director/VP of Maintenance & Infrastructure, this position oversees all aspects of planning, scheduling, and budgeting for maintenance operations, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of fleet maintenance and EAM(Enterprise Asset Management) administration. They are responsible for analyzing fleet equipment performance to develop predictive maintenance programs, coordinating fleet campaigns, special projects, and managing preventative maintenance initiatives. Additionally, they support asset management, preventative maintenance, and regulatory compliance efforts while monitoring departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing data-driven analysis to executive leadership planning and scheduling maintenance activities: including but not limited to reporting and oversight of financial analysis, administrative procedures, EAM process, and data management of the Maintenance and Infrastructure department. The position manages the Maintenance Administrative Specialist, Maintenance Analyst, and QA / Technology supervisors in monitoring and improving the department’s performance.

**Responsibilities**:
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **include the following**:

- Responsible for planning, scheduling, and budgeting operations of the Maintenance Department, including the development and reporting of Capital and Operating budgets.
- Analyzes fleet equipment and fleet breakdowns to develop a predictive maintenance program to increase mean distance between failure (MDBF) and reduce repeat failures.
- Coordinate and manage fleet campaigns and special projects.
- Manage all preventative maintenance projects to completion.
- Supports Asset Management, Environmental Sustainability, and Preventative Maintenance for Fleet and Facilities.
- Manages, develops, and reports data-driven analysis to the Executive Director/VP of Maintenance & Infrastructure on departmental key performance indicators regarding bus / equipment reliability and availability, personnel levels, and budget controls, and produce written recommendations and presentations. Provide support for Maintenance personnel using the Maintenance Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System and other IT systems used within the department.
- Manages/governs (EAM) data, workflow and reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining, recording, developing, and presenting Maintenance KPI’s.
- Coordinating procurement for necessary parts and supplies while optimizing parts usage and expense.
- Monitoring and optimizing the utilization of resources, including labor and materials, to achieve cost-effectiveness.
- Develops and supports implementation and training of EAM software to frontline employees.
- Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to frontline employees, including (OEM) repair procedures and corrective maintenance actions.
- Monitors Maintenance contracts, purchase orders balances, and various business administration functions.
- Minimize disruption while maximizing team productivity by creating, developing and implementing clear procedures for maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Monitoring and optimizing the ratio of planned preventive maintenance to unplanned breakdowns.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with policies and safety procedures and state and local regulations.
- Analyzes and manages shop workflow process and procedures.
- Oversees and directs the Quality Assurance department and activities.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures for fleet maintenance operations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of equipment to verify compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Oversees the Maintenance Analyst and supports all reporting functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
