Accountant

Overview:
**Duties**:

- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records
- Perform bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing for both exempt and non-exempt employees
- Verify timecards for accuracy and obtain necessary approvals
- Reconcile payroll data with quarterly (941 & DE 9/DE9C) and annual (940 & W2/W3) tax fillings
- Assist with 401(k) and worker compensation audit processes to ensure accurate and compliant payroll reporting according to state and federal laws
- Process daily accounts receivable(invoice generation and collections), accounts payable(vendor management and payment processing), and online bank deposits
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to inventoru counting efforts and prepare reports
- Review montly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly sales tax reports and maintain precise bookkeeping records and report discrepancies to management
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines efficiently
- Prepare monthly financial statments for management review

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
