**Overview of the Position**:

- The IT Systems Consultant position will support the digital transformation of AEC Technology within the COA Capital Delivery Services Department. This position will have extensive knowledge and experience of the following technologies: Internet of Things (IOT), Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS/Drones), Digital Twinning, Building Information Modeling (BIM) modelling and visualization, Artificial intelligence, and Machine learning (AI/ML), data analytics, cloud/edge computing and storage, and wireless mobile devices and communication. The position will work closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other departments, to develop and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making.**Who We Are**:

**Travel**:

- The Capital Delivery Services Department is comprised of multiple facilities located throughout Austin. If you are selected for this position, and meet the **Driver Safety Standards** in the City of Austin **Driver Safety Program,** you may drive when necessary to multiple locations as part of your regular job duties. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting to and from these locations.**Hybrid Work Environment**:

The City of Austin has an established work arrangement under which an employee is scheduled to work at least 3 days per week at their designated worksite.
