Atlas Minerals & Chemicals, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Shop Fabrication Supervisor to work in our thermoplastic fabrication shop.
Being the Fabrication Supervisor in the thermoplastics department allows you to work in a safe environment where every project is different. You will work on plastic tanks, trenches, sumps, containment areas, and more. You will learn how to create cut sheets from mechanical drawings/blueprints for others to follow. Carpentry or woodworking experience is required. You will be taught plastic welding.
**Responsibilities include**:
Measuring and cutting plastics and related materials
Safe use of hand and power tools
Ability to create cut list from blueprints for others to follow
**Requirements**:
Ability to read construction drawings
Attention to detail
Basic carpentry skills
Commitment to safety

Pay: $24.18 - $25.18 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
