Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of duties including the scheduling of production work, managing and staffing of the installation process and performing the necessary administrative and communications functions involved with this position. All Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers report to General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Communicate staffing needs for each job
- Review and confirm quantity take-offs per contract site plan specifications
- Efficiently schedule work for completion
- Communicate with builders/supervisors on a regular basis in an effort to ensure a “successful” working relationship
- Layout and communicate projects to job Foreman
- Ability to analyze and determine when a purchase order request is required and have the ability to prepare, cost and sell the request to maximize company profitability
- Identify areas where “cost saving” measures may be identified
- Administer quality control measures in field with Project Foreman/Managers
- Responsible for training and development of Project Managers
- Responsible for the implementation of new policies and procedures within the Home Building Division
- Assist Project Managers in resolving daily production issues in a timely, cost effective and productive manner
- Assist Project Managers with the development of daily schedules. Provide appropriate feedback regarding the appropriate Foreman and crew for each Home Building job
- Assign and oversee yard assignments for all Field Production Management
- Assist Senior Management with conflict resolution and special assignments when requested
- Assist with the development and standardization of work procedures
- Administer quality control measures in field with project Foreman

Skills and Educational Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must have a strong working knowledge of the landscaping industry. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze and solve problems. Must be a self-starter, with a strong work

ethic and must be a team player. Graduate of a 2/4-year college or have a strong working knowledge of landscaping with a minimum of 5 years experience in field operations.

Inner Relationships:
Contact with all levels of personnel within the company and with clients and vendors.

Needed Attributes: Able to communicate well with others, ability to make calculated and cost effective decisions, able to prioritize and organize scheduled projects and ability to read and understand blue prints. Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks under time performance pressure, often changing assignments on short notice.
