- Screen prospective tenants to determine eligibility for affordable housing programs.
- Assist applicants with the completion of necessary paperwork and ensure all required documentation is submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct background and credit checks in compliance with fair housing laws.
- ** Leasing and Property Tours**:

- Conduct property tours for potential tenants, highlighting the features and benefits of the affordable housing community.
- Clearly communicate leasing terms, rental rates, and any additional fees to prospective tenants.
- Facilitate lease signings and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
- ** Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Establish positive relationships with residents to enhance the sense of community within the affordable housing property.
- ** Compliance and Regulations**:

- Stay up to date on federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
- Collaborate with property management to maintain accurate and organized records related to tenant leasing and compliance.
- ** Marketing and Outreach**:

- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract eligible applicants.
- Collaborate with community organizations, local agencies, and outreach programs to promote the availability of affordable housing units.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
- Familiarity with affordable housing programs and regulations is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
