The Camp Host will assist the Camp Host Lead with SkyPark’s Camp & RV Resort. The Camp Host will assist all staff working throughout the campground and ensure completion of their job duties, including landscaping, maintenance and campsite work. They will ensure guests are properly checked in and answer campground questions. The Camp Host will report to the Camp Host Lead and the General Management Team. The camp host will also work directly with our Facilities Supervisor, communicating specific needs for additional resources.

SkyPark is a seasonal employer and requires availability on weekends and holidays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with grounds-keeping and building maintenance duties.
- Check In/Out campground guests.
- Inspect sites (including airstream sites) before and after guest visit. Making repairs as needed.
- Assist guests onsite, online and over the phone. Be available in the office or keep an eye on it if handling other tasks. Let the guests see your presence.
- Learn to handle credit card transactions for reservations through the CampLife Software, once access has been granted.
- Assist with maintenance, restroom cleaning, landscaping needs, etc.
- Water plants and flowers needed around the campground.
- Sweep walkway of debris.
- Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed.
- Re-locate plants or trees to areas that will promote growth.
- Clean and organize campsites for guests before they arrive and after they leave.
- Shovel snow from walkways and put dirt down to keep people from slipping.
- Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger for guests or employees.
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
- Make sure restrooms are clean and fully stocked.
- Clean trash receptacles at common area.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and tools.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Customer experience is preferred.
- Must be familiar with computers.
- Maintain a pleasant personality even in stressful situations.
- Be able to handle credit card information confidentially.
- Must be willing to work outdoors, including standing, walking, squatting, pulling/pushing, and lifting.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
