- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and supplies.
- Implement inventory tracking systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
**Production Oversight**:
- Develop production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste.
- Supervise bakery staff to ensure adherence to recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain consistency and freshness of products.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and product quality.
**Staff Management**:
- Recruit, hire, and train bakery staff, including bakers, pastry chefs, and sales associates.
- Schedule shifts and manage employee work hours to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to employees to foster growth and development.
- Handle employee relations issues, such as conflicts and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
**Customer Service**:
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement customer satisfaction surveys and use feedback to improve service and products.
- Train staff on effective customer service techniques and product knowledge.\
**Financial Management**:
- Monitor bakery expenses and revenue to ensure profitability targets are met.
- Prepare and manage budgets for labor, ingredients, and other operating expenses.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
**Regulatory Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including HACCP and FDA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of food safety practices, including temperature logs and cleaning schedules.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
**Marketing and Sales**:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns, advertising materials, and social media content.
- Monitor sales trends and customer preferences to adjust product offerings and marketing strategies accordingly.
- Participate in community events and partnerships to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
**Continuous Improvement**:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings throughout the bakery operation.
- Lead initiatives to implement best practices, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.
- Encourage innovation and creativity among staff to develop new products and improve existing ones.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the bakery team.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
