Overview:
This job entails a range of responsibilities related to handling materials, supplies, and equipment within Beebe Medical Center and its Family Health Centers. The duties include receiving, inspecting, verifying, controlling, storing, and accurately issuing these items to various departments. Given the nature of the medical setting, this role involves handling both legend (prescription) and non-legend drugs. Therefore, it necessitates a high level of ethical standards regarding medication storage and security. Maintaining stringent security and storage protocols is crucial to prevent any diversion of medications from the organization and to uphold the integrity of the products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough audits of exchange carts, par level stock areas, and on-hand stock, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Regularly remove outdated or unused supplies, maintaining a pristine and organized inventory.
- Take charge of maintaining the supply support system in patient care areas, guaranteeing seamless operations.
- Skillfully inventory and restock carts and storage areas, ensuring punctuality and precision in supply replenishment.
- Keep Distribution stocked with an adequate supply to meet the demands of exchange carts and par level areas.
- Efficiently procure supplies from stores as needed, ensuring continuous availability.
- Accurately prepare and process inventory documentation, such as stock issue requisitions and return-to-stock credits.
- Fulfill orders promptly and deliver them to the requesting department, ensuring seamless workflow.
- Employ proper storage and distribution techniques, guaranteeing the integrity and accessibility of supplies.
- Monitor and recommend changes in stock levels to optimize inventory management.
- Assist in setting traction frames, issuing patient care equipment, and meticulously tracking their usage.
- Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment, verifying accuracy and condition, and taking appropriate action for discrepancies.
- Document and report damages or defects promptly, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
- Efficiently process all necessary documentation for shipments, enabling smooth payment authorization.
- Code and store inventory appropriately, ensuring easy retrieval and accurate tracking.
- Maintain shipping records and coordinate timely pickups with shipping vendors.
- Perform additional duties as required, exhibiting flexibility and dedication to support team goals.

Qualifications:

- **Preferably** one year of hands-on experience with patient care supplies and equipment, though not mandatory.
- An understanding of the usage and significance of Medical/Surgical supplies and equipment is advantageous.
- Prior experience in the storage and distribution of supplies is desirable, but not mandatory as on-the-job training will be provided.
- ** Essential**: Ability to work independently, swiftly, and with utmost professionalism.
- Strong communication skills are a must, coupled with the ability to efficiently manage clerical control systems.
