Come join the Publix Team We are hiring engaging, enthusiastic, and energetic individuals to work in our Customer Service department as a **Customer Service Staff **at your **Virginia Center Marketplace **This store is located at 10150 Brook Road Glen Allen, Va.
- Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers, answering their questions, and resolving issues.
- Handles money services such as check cashing, lottery, gift cards, money orders and Western Union transactions.
- Performs daily bookkeeping procedures such as balancing and reconciling cash drawers, maintains office accountability and prepares deposits.
- Answers and directs telephone calls.
- Maintains the cash office and equipment.
- Coordinates operations on the front-end to ensure premier service for our customers.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
- Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems.
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
- Prior experience in cash handling and basic accounting in a retail environment.
