**Overview**:
**Statement of Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform underwriting activities which includes analysis of the member’s financial condition to include credit history, income, collateral valuation, and other financial information to assess the degree of risk and the members ability to repay the loan by analyzing verification of debts, debt-to-income ratios, levels of secured and unsecured debts. Determine need for and/or eligibility of co-maker. Maintain an accurate record of negatives and positives on all loans.
- Determine collateral needs and payment plans for applicants. Analyze loan data on new or refinanced loans. Evaluate collateral values by using KarPower or NADA guides and calculate secured/unsecured credit levels, ascertaining correct interest rates for various loan products.
- Evaluate the loan decision by CLO II and contact the member with the results. Review loan repayment terms, options, and products with the member. Obtain all necessary documents, including signatures, to disburse and close the loan.
- If a loan is denied, explain reasons for denial in a professional, courteous manner and send an Adverse Action letter (denial letter) to the member within 30 days. Work with members to provide alternative options or recommendations for ways to overcoming problems, to qualify for future approvals.
- Complete loan documents, close, fund, set up payroll deduction and disburse loans when approved in person or Online (e-signature).
- Prepare, process, and submit all new and used vehicles for registration in the State in which they will be titled to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work.
- Maintain current knowledge of all Credit Union products with a strong concentration on lending products. Actively cross-sells loans, VISA, GAP, MBI, Life and Disability products, and other credit union products and services.
- Remain proficient in the legal aspects of accounts (e.g., trusts, fiduciary accounts, Power of Attorney, etc.).
- Promote and maintain a positive image of the Credit Union to assigned personnel, members, and the community.
- Provide input to CEO for enhancing department, employee development, quality of work and service to members.
- Ensure accounting functions meet and demonstrate compliance with standards set by all regulatory agencies and Credit Union policies

Pay: $4,773.60 per month
