Specimen Accessioner

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Specimen Accessioner to join our team. The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for receiving, labeling, and processing laboratory specimens in a timely and accurate manner.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Receive, sort, and label specimens according to established procedures
- Verify patient information on requisitions and labels
- Prepare specimens for testing and storage
- Perform data entry of specimen information into the laboratory information system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma
- 0-2 years of work experience
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Laboratory procedures and specimen collection processing (preferred not required)
- Basic knowledge of laboratory management practices

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
