Retouching Artist

The Opportunity

The Retouching Artist 1 is responsible for QVC’s vendor provided image workflows. You will become an expert regarding QVC’s image specs for vendor provided content, which vendors do and do not provide their own content, and how to process, load, and archive these assets. In addition to vendor provided content, the Retouching Artist 1 will assist the Retouching Artist 2 team with daily administrative tasks and multiple creative responsibilities. You will understand concepts related to image processing such as cropping, aspect ratio, pixel dimensions, DPI, and color space. You have a basic knowledge on how to use Photoshop tools including color and contrast adjustments, clone stamp, spot healing brush, crop tool.

Your Impact- You will collaborate with your fellow Retouching Artist team and management to ensure vendor created content meets QVC Brand standards for qualities such as aesthetic, lighting, contrast, color balance, model retouching, and accuracy.- You will assess the vendor images for any additional retouching needs and act on their findings. When situations arise that are outside of the predefined standards for QVC vendor images, you will partner with their management team, or a Retouching Artist 2 when management is unavailable, to determine the best course forward.- You will assist the Retouching Artist 2 team with administrative responsibilities to ensure the daily success of the team.

What You Bring

**Experience**:
0 to 2 years

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Bridge.

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
