Data Entry Specialist

Duties include but not limited to:

- Administers the timely and accurate input of congressionally mandated documentation for the Transition Assistance Program.
- Responsible for the accurate collection, input, inventory, maintenance, and tracking of all forms within the Transition Assistance Program.
- Responsible for reviewing the attendance registrations for transition assistance workshops.
- Creates and disseminates pertinent information and inquiries to program participants for the collection and entry of data for statistical reports and transition workshop registration.
- Inputs/monitors/updates customer information to Air Force Family Integrated Reporting and Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST), Air Force Portal’s Virtual Out-Processing, and DoDTAP systems.
- Review all records, paper and electronic, to ensure requirements of the Records Management Program, Freedom of Information Act Program, and Privacy Act Program, are met.
- Be able to recognize the military rank structure and work effectively with diverse groups.
- Must possess a high level of proficiency in both written and verbal English skills and a demonstrated ability to perform data entry at an acceptable rate of speed.
- High level of proficiency in understanding of military protocol, structure, and chain of command; experience with Military & Family Support Center functions or similar services; understanding of family systems in a military setting, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Great open and professional communication. Great time-management skills.

A minimum of at least 2 years of related experience in a data entry environment.

A minimum of 48 college accredited semester hours, or a combination of education and direct work experience.

Place of Performance: Military and Family Readiness Center, Joint Base Andrews (JBA) - 1191 Menoher Dr, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762

Shift: Monday - Friday 0830 - 1530 / 30 hours per week
