**Job Description: Support Services Clerk**
**Non-Exempt, Reports to: Director of Operations**
**Firm Introduction**
Embry Neusner Arscott & Shafner LLC is a law firm in Groton, Connecticut which mainly focuses on Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury cases. Our hardworking staff do everything they can to assure clients are getting the best service we can provide. Our clients are our mission, and our goal is to put the client back in control of their life as soon as possible.
The Support Services Clerk assists the firm by maintaining support in the areas of reception, client support, copy, scan, office supplies, word processing, filing, and data entry. The Support Services Clerk is a floater that may be trained in the basic needs of the firm in a variety of areas and may be called on to assist in tasks during employment.
**Responsibilities**
- Back up to all Receptionist duties, answering phones, taking care of client needs.
- Orders and stocks office supplies for the firm making sure stock levels are appropriate for usage.
- Periodically runs errands for firm such as retrieving and dropping off mail and picking up catering.
- Supports Paralegal as needed.
- Supports File Clerks as needed.
- Supports attorneys as needed with medical requests, wage calculation and any additional tasks as necessary.
- Maintains office employment posters.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Basic Skills**
- Knowledge of administrative and office procedures, phones, and faxing
- Customer service and attention to detail
- Proficient in the English language both written and spoken, knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of phones, electronic equipment, and computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite required, Adobe Acrobat.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be licensed to drive and have ability to run errands for firm.

**Education and Experience**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years in customer service position
Pay: $18.00 - $24.09 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
