**Job Summary and Qualifications**:
**What You Will Do In Your Role**:
- You will plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care of each patient assigned by communicating relevant information to appropriate healthcare professionals
- You will competently and accurately complete age appropriate comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of patients; takes nursing history assessment to identify nursing diagnosis/patient care needs
- You will evaluate the patient/family response to, and outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care accordingly
- You will implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual Telemetry patients
- You will promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who influence patient progress
**What qualifications you will need**:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- 1 year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting preferred
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) within 6 months of hire
